The Redemption

While three of our young people in church were doing a sing&rap presentation – Ryan who was on the other side of the stage put the paints on his white cartolina, no brushes – just bare hands. Extemporaneously, after the song, Ryan came up with this…

"The Redemption" by Ryan Luzano

I got more amazed when I looked closer at this painting, I said to myself, God Your Love is so Amazing! I immediately took a picture of it using my phone, I couldn't wait to talk about it here!

See, this is exactly what his love can do, it can make people radical about their passion. Art, an expression becomes worship! When his love stirs up our hearts, it also stirs up our hands, our body; to move in praise of the King of Love.

Your output when you're in loved displays your depths. And I could imagine how Ryan looked upon that Love expressed on the cross of our Savior. I also approached Ryan while he was removing the painting from the board and asked him what does this(his painting) mean to him? he said "Redemption".

Friends, God gave us His Only Son Jesus and “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight.”( Ephesians 1:7).

For you were bought at a price, therefore glorify God in your body. (1 Cor 6:20)

QUESTION:
What does being redeemed mean to you???

Good morning my Creator!

It was good!
A flash of a moment; when you've created heaven and earth
I exclaimed for my eyes behold how awesome are all your works!

Good morning my Creator, good morning my Love!
You are marvelous and beautiful!
My praise to you gets louder as I enter your courts

I know, in your presence there your Love; a banner over me
So let me come in, and breathe in the fresh air of your mercy
This morning there is dew on every leaf of plants, what a mystery;
A mystery for a child like me;

For you brought out moist from the scorching heat of yesterday
You shape my past, you made me glad, you bring every new day
In the darkness of night, broke forth ’e ray of light
Praise our merciful God! Praise him with a grateful shout!

Pagninilay

Mark 7:13

Ito ba’y nagbibigay kaluguran sa Dios?

Mayroon din namang hinahampas ang sarili at nagpapa-pako sa krus as a way of chastisement. What??? Pambawas pa lang yon?
Truth is; Hindi kayang bayaran ninuman ang kanyang sarili kasalanan.

We were cursed because of our sins but Christ redeemed us when he was cursed and crushed for us. We’re not supposed to imitate his suffering because it is not a sympathy it’s a mockery. How would Jesus feel if we, the very reason for his suffering, would make ourselves suffer from a do-it-yourself punishment? Knowing that what he did is for the total forgiveness of sins! “It is done!” Jesus said!

If we truly believed that God loves us we would never do such things.

Open the eyes of my heart

As part of our Voice Class for Worship Leaders
# of Takes: 16  [the last take is the current video]
Date/time: Saturday, September 4, 2010,2:24 PM- ‏‎4:11 PM

We thought it would be very easy but it wasn't.

The recording at the onset wasn't delightful; it was a humdrum. We just didn’t know yet what was wrong. Until we realized that we missed to do something important, which is to pray (perhaps we got so excited).

So Joms and I took a moment to pray and asked God to forgive us because we forgot to begin in Him. And a big by-the-way, He’s the very reason for our song. So we asked for His guidance and his overflowing grace to cheer our souls and by His Spirit enable us to sing with all our hearts.

Then spontaneously, our hearts sang for a better rendition. . .

“Open the eyes of my heart Lord, open the eyes of my heart,
I want to see You…
High and lifted up shining, in the light of Your glory
Pour out Your power and love as we sing HOLY, HOLY, HOLY.”

The Lord can bring harmony to our worship as our hearts agree to the truth we sing; that's when Worshiping God For Who He Is happens.

We often ask God to open the eyes of our hearts, but unconsciously yet opened, we miss to seek Him. The truth is; He is willing, and just waiting ‘til his word sink into our hearts.

             Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another in psalms
                   and hymns and spiritual songs
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
                    Colossians 3:16

Our Prayer,

FATHER, may your use this song as we reach out; we pray that the eyes of our hearts be opened wide so that we may be able to see Your glory and Your power shining before all men, the lost and the found.

We give back all praises and honor to you Our God, in Jesus’ powerful name, Amen.
